Monkey Bread (King’s Hawaiian Style)
Now that you have those great King’s Hawaiian Rolls home, here’s a great idea for a weekend brunch. Using King’s Hawaiian Rolls, you get a rich, sweet take on an old favorite.
Here’s what you’ll need:
1 (12 pack) KING'S HAWAIIAN Original Hawaiian Sweet Dinner Rolls
1 egg beaten
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup Chopped walnuts
1 stick butter melted
3/4 cup Brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon cinnamon
The next part is surprisingly easy:
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a bundt pan with cooking spray.
Step 2
Mix cinnamon and granulated sugar in a small bowl.
Step 3
Cut each dinner roll into 4-6 pieces. Place in a large bowl.
Step 4
Pour egg over the bread and toss with your hands.
Step 5
Pour cinnamon sugar over egg/bread mixture and toss with your hands.
Step 6
Place bread mixture in the prepared pan. Sprinkle the chopped walnuts over the bread mixture.
Step 7
Stir melted butter and brown sugar together and pour evenly over the mixture in the pan.
Step 8
Bake for 15 minutes.
Step 9
Cool slightly in pan.
Step 10
Run a knife around the edges and around the center of the pan to release the monkey bread.
Step 11
Place an upside down plate over the top of the pan and invert the pan to serve.
