Each of the recipes utilizes a different protein base.
According to PetMD, homemade meals are always healthier than processed, store-bought food. If your cat has a food sensitivity, you, the chef, will know exactly what is being added to breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you want to switch your cat to a fully homemade diet, do so gradually! Rapid diet changes cause a shock to the gastrointestinal system, which does not make for a happy pet.

Basic Chicken & Rice Cat Dinner

Ingredients:
- 2 lbs chicken livers, cooked, chopped bite-size
- 3 cups of rice, cooked. Cooked oatmeal can be substituted
- 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped bite-size
- 1⁄ 2cup chopped vegetables, cooked and pureed
- 1 tablespoon fish, oil. salmon oil can be substituted
- 1 teaspoon vitamin E, oil
Directions:
- Place chicken livers in a large pot. Cover with water.
- Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until the livers are cooked through.
- Drain, rinse and cool completely. Cut into bite-sized pieces.
- Return to pot. Add prepared rice or oatmeal, eggs, vegetables, salmon or fish oil and Vitamin E oil.
- Stir well to combine.
- Divide into serving-size portions. This should stay good in the refrigerator for 3 days. Freeze any portion that will not be used within that time.

Ingredients:
- 10 ounces canned salmon undrained
- 1 egg beaten
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°.
- Pulse 10 ounces of undrained, canned salmon in a food processor to chop as finely as possible.
- In a stand mixer, combine salmon, 1 egg (beaten), and 2 cups whole wheat flour until dough forms. If the dough is too dry, add up to 1/3 cup water. If it is too wet or sticky, add a bit more flour. The dough should be tacky but not sticky.
- Roll dough on a floured surface until about 1/4-inch thick. Use a 3/4-inch cookie cutter in the shape of your choice to create your treats.
- Place treats on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake at 350° for about 20 minutes. When they’re slightly browned and crunchy, they’re done.
- Allow to cool before serving.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.

Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons oil I use coconut or olive oil
- 1 1/4 cups flour - plus additional flour for rolling dough Use whatever flour your cat can have – I used oat
- 1 tablespoon dried catnip optional
- 3/4 cup finely shredded carrot
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- cold water as needed
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl add oil and mix in 1 cup of the flour until the mixture looks sandy.
- Stir in catnip and carrots.
- Mix in egg. Add a little water if the mixture looks too dry and isn't holding together. Add a little flour if the mixture looks too wet and sticky. (Sometimes the carrots can be more wet or dry.)
- Sprinkle a flat surface with a little additional flour and roll or pat out dough to ¼ inch thickness. Sprinkle dough with additional flour as needed.
- Prick dough all over with a fork. Use a pizza wheel to cut dough into 1/2 inch squares.
- Arrange squares on a prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for about 12 minutes or until starting to brown. (Bake longer for a drier texture.)
- Cool on a baking sheet.
- Store in an airtight container for several days or freeze for longer storage. (If baked to a softer texture, store in the refrigerator.)

- 2lb organic ground beef, 90% lean
- 2lb organic ground turkey thighs (skinless and boneless)
- 115g organic squash meat
- 60g organic mixed berries
- 60g organic broccoli
- 2 cans sardines in water
- 60g organic kale
- 2lb organic mixed chicken organs, ground
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350º
- Shred the squash.
- Puree the broccoli, kale, berries, sardine, and shredded squash with a food processor
- Place the ground meat into a large mixing bowl and add the pureed vegetable and fruit mixture. Mix everything together until it’s well incorporated.
- Pour the mixture into a ceramic baking dish and bake in the oven for 60 minutes
- Allow it to cool fully before dividing it into 17 portions. Freeze the excess in the baking dish covered with the cling wrap film.

- 5oz can of tuna
- 1/2 cup white cornmeal
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup water
Directions:
- Mix all ingredients together until it forms a ball.
- Break off tiny pieces and roll into a small bite size ball and place on a baking sheet.
- Flatten ball with a finger-- just like you're making thumbprint cookies.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 5 minutes.
- Flip and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
