Easy Shrimp Broccoli Stir Fry

Are you one of those types who are afraid of cooking seafood?  Hey, you’re not alone…but the good news is, seafood is easier to cook than you might think, and this is a delicious recipe that anyone can make!  Here’s all you need:

Main Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 1/2 pounds Censea Raw shrimp, peeled and deveined (only $4.99 for 16 oz)

24 ounces (5 cups) Broccoli Crowns (now just $1.69/lb at Fresh Madison Market)

1 teaspoon sesame seeds

1 green onion, thinly sliced

 

To make the amazing sauce that goes with it, you’ll need:

3 tablespoons reduced sodium soy sauce

2 tablespoons oyster sauce

1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar

1 tablespoon brown sugar, packed

1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon cornstarch

1 teaspoon Sriracha, optional

Wait ‘till you see how easy this is!

Whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice wine vinegar, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, cornstarch and optional Sriracha, then set aside. 

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Add shrimp, stir occasionally until pink (2 to 3 minutes).

Add broccoli stir about 2-3 minutes.

Stir in soy sauce mixture until combined and thickened, about 1-2 minutes.

Serve and garnish with sesame seeds and green onion.
