4 Good and Healthy Snacks for Work

It would be great if your day at work also allowed you to also eat well, but too often that isn’t the case.  Here are a few quick and easy snacks you can keep with you at work that just might keep you away from the vending machine.

 

Pumpkin or Sunflower Seeds

Always a good choice and full of protein, keeping some seeds at your desk are a great way to stop the munchies.

Nuts and Dried Fruit

Raw cashews or almonds, along with dried fruit like raisins or apricots, all give you a satisfying snack without the empty calories.

Tuna

Tuna packed in water and low in sodium can be found in single serving cans or pouches are easy to keep handy when you can’t go out for a good lunch, or forgot to bring something healthy.

Plain Oatmeal

Keep a box of plain instant oatmeal on hand.  It can be heated up quickly, full of good fiber, and can keep you feeling full all day!
